Who are we?
We are Hybrideas, a design studio based in Skopje, located in the centre of the city. Our work includes art direction, brand platforms and visual identities, publications, exhibitions, site-specific installations, interior concepts, signage, packaging, and digital.
About the founder
The studio was founded by the Macedonian artist Maja Kirovska in 2017. After years of successful work in the fields of art and design, because of the need to grow her small company, Independent Artist MK specialized in exhibition design and advertising. Maja Kirovska has been active in the field since 2000. She has participated in more than 100 group art exhibitions, 17 solo shows in many countries, such as the USA, South Korea, Portugal, Netherlands, and etc. and has curated more than 20 group exhibitions. Also, she has worked as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Art and Design – Republic of Macedonia, teaching Graphic Design Principles, Photography, and Multimedia for 7 years. For her work as an artist as well as a mentor, she has won numerous awards and recognitions.
Our studio
In 2013 Maja Kirovska established her own company for Art and Design, focusing on exhibition design, art direction, advertising, publications, photography, promotional materials, organizing and media relations for cultural events.
In 2017 she established the design studio Hybrideas, which brought together a team of professionals, whose skills cover wide range of client's needs. From working on brand platforms and visual identities, catalog and book design and publishing, signage, packaging, and digital, to site-specific installations and interior concepts.
